At Mikalexis, we believe that learning a language shouldn't require surrendering your personal data. Our privacy philosophy is simple: we want to help you talk to people, not track you.
Mikalexis is designed to be completely "stateless." We do not require you to create an account, and we do not collect, store, or solicit personal details such as your name, email address, or phone number within the app experience.
To understand general traffic trends and see which language modules are most helpful to visitors, Mikalexis uses Google Analytics. This service uses standard cookies to provide us with anonymous, aggregate data regarding overall page views and referral sources (such as knowing when visitors arrive from Reddit). We do not use this data for commercial advertising, behavioral profiling, or personalized tracking.
To provide an optimal user experience, Mikalexis utilizes standard "Local Storage" on your browser. This is used exclusively to remember your direct learning preferences, such as your dark/light theme choices or the language pack you were last viewing. This data lives completely offline on your own device and is never transmitted to our servers.
We use standard web hosting to securely deliver the app framework to your browser. Our hosting and network infrastructure providers may temporarily process basic technical information—such as IP addresses, browser variants, and standard request logs—solely for performance optimization, server security, and automated abuse prevention.
We provide prerecorded audio files directly to your browser for native playback to demonstrate exact pronunciation blueprints. For dynamic runtime accessibility features, the application may optionally utilize your device's built-in Web Speech API. All processing occurs locally on your machine; we do not record, store, or process your voice data.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to match structural changes in our software. Any adjustments will be transparently reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
